Virginia C. Wood Resident Research Forum 2015The Virginia C. Wood Resident Research Forum, held on April 23, 2015, featured over 70 posters presented by 38 residents. Posters were judged in three categories: education, patient safety, and research. Winners are pictured below. The two-hour event provides an opportunity for the Dayton-area residents to share their research with judges and peers. Forum judges represent the residency programs, faculty from the medical school, and area physicians. |
Virginia Wood is the catalyst for the research forum. Dr. Wood led in the creation of the first forum in 2000 and chaired the forum until 2007. Dr. Wood retired from the Wright State University in 2013. In recognition of her leadership, dedication, and guidance to the graduate medical education of the Dayton community, the resident research forum is named in her honor. |
